Henry James – “…Judge everyone and everything for yourself.”

Henry James – “Do not mind anything that
anyone tells you about
anyone else. Judge everyone and everything for yourself.”

Judge the value of everything,

before accepting anything, put it through the crucible to see;

if it would pass a test,

designed strictly to your specifications and terms,

don’t be teleguided, it’s only liberty that makes life enjoyable,

life is one big hell, if it’s regimented?

So, don’t assess things and people on the basis of gossip,

gossip destroys true friendship,

and true friendship is the basis of real peace.
